Determining who is an Influential–which in my experience means who is most likely to be foreman–does NOT indicate verdict outcome in any way. It is a tool.

For example, there may be four people who I am considering striking on a jury panel, and I only have three strikes. One of these four is an Influential. And I also have another Influential who I like and I’m not considering striking. I will strike the Influential who I have mixed feelings about before the other three because she will be more likely than the other three to lead the rest of the jury her way.

I had to respond “yes” to all eleven. But this gets you to a potential foreman – how does that factor into the how the jury will tend to vote with respect to the issue(s) before them?
